3 Simple Tips for a Smooth Airbnb Experience
If you are a traveller and have enough money, you may choose a five-star hotel to stay in. But if you are getting the same comfort and amenities in a much spacious home for a few bucks, why to spend over $500 for a five-star hotel’s standard room? Yes, I am talking about airbnb which is a comfortable and affordable accommodation option for almost all travellers. Here are a few tips on how to make your airbnb experience as smooth as a hotel.
1. Choose Carefully
Don’t assume that the facility you want absolutely will be present at the airbnb if it’s not mentioned in the profile. E.g. if you can’t do without air conditioning and it’s not mentioned in the airbnb manage listing, contact the host and inquire if the property has it or not.
2. Check Reviews
Another point to remember is to check reviews. It’s not advisable to book a property having no reviews. This has another side too. Owner of a new property might offer a low price to attract customers. However, it may be a risk because the host being inexperienced may not think of everything his property should have. If you get a perfect newly listed property or with minor deficiencies, you may be lucky. However, sometimes it may even be serious like no towels or plates provided.
3. Is it Someone’s House or a Serviced Apartment?
If it’s someone’s house, there may be the owner’s belongings left behind, such as fridge full of their foods or closets full of their clothes. This is okay if you need only bed while you’d be remaining out for the whole day. However, if you want to feel the space as your own for the length of your stay, such a property is not suitable. You need a serviced apartment where no one lives permanently; so, you get everything such as fridge, cupboards etc. for you.
Choosing an airbnb carefully decides largely how your experience will be. So, choose one carefully and enjoy the stay.
