Falling in Love with Paris is not an Option, but the Verdict
Is there something to say about Paris that is already unknown? No matter from which part of our planet you come from, Paris is one of those “must visit” destinations in the almost any traveler’s plan. What you should know before starting your journey is that you won’t be the same person once you come back from your Paris trip. No, you will be so sad and miserable and you will start planning your next journey to this extraordinary city before you even come home. Paris is so enchanting, in any time of year, but it is the most romantic city in the world in the springtime. If you wave your hand thinking it is too cliche, once you come here you will realize that in Paris the reality outstrips the myth.
Eiffel Tower, the Seine river with its banks, Notre Dame… These astonishing sights have been described so many times, but once you see them with your own eyes, you will feel and understand all their magic and grandness. But, every corner of Paris is a sort of a fairytale in itself. See all the tourist attraction, but spend some time just sitting in some lovely small cafes and restaurants. Wander and enjoy every single moment of your journey.
Paris have about 80,000 hotel beds and still this number is largely occupied almost every day. Therefore, it is recommended to book your accommodation far ahead. Paris is not the cheap place to visit altogether, but the accommodation is certainly the biggest cost. You should count on spending between €60 and €140 a night for a double room in some midrange hotel. As a backpacker, you can survive on about €70 per day, of course, if you live on baguette and cheese and stay in hostels. However, if you are looking for a midrange hotel, museums, restaurants and cafes, count on spending €120 plus on a daily basis. You could also look for rental apartments in Paris, especially if you travel with your family or a group of people.
