While Bali is an incredibly beautiful yet serene place full of lush green scenery, its part called Seminyak is full of action, hustle-bustle and radiance with glossy bars, cool cafés, hip hotels and boutique shopping. Though Seminyak has no longer remained a hidden gem, it is certainly great if you know your way around. Here are a few useful tips that will make you have maximum fun in this lovely corner of the island.
1. Seminyak Beach
The greatest point of attraction in South Bali is its beaches and it applies to Seminyak too. Seminyak is located just north of Kuta and Legian and it’s difficult to find out where its one beach ends and the other starts. Book a hotel, guesthouse, B&B or a luxurious 5 bedroom villa in Seminyak Bali and head out towards its beaches to start having fun.
The beaches are adorned with a number of drinking spots that range from simple beach bars to fashionable pool clubs. Be careful with water though as the throbbing currents and surfs can be dangerous and there is also a lack of beach patrols unlike that found in Kuta.
2. Double Six Beach
Also known as “Blue Ocean Beach”, Double Six Beach is a half-kilometer stretch adorned with golden sand connecting the northernmost part of Legian and the southernmost beachfront of Seminyak of The Oberoi Bali resort or simply known as “Oberoi Beach”. A part of the Jalan Double Six (also called Jalan Arjuna), which is one of the main beachside streets of Legian runs along the Double Six Beach and is bordered by hip bars and restaurants.

3. Pura Petitenget
Pura Petitenget is a place where you can enjoy typical Balinese culture. This is an old temple dating back to centuries where a number of spiritual ceremonies are performed. Don’t forget to dress properly.
4. Spas
Seminyak is a great place to enjoy spas and wellness centers. Some of these spas are the most outstanding with specialties like the ability to rectify the most problematic muscular kinks with ease, attractive interior, DJ stations and more.
5. Dream Museum Zone (DMZ) Bali 3D
This is a fun and interactive art gallery offering a huge array of 3D, life-size murals for you to play with. There is a rich collection of masterfully painted artworks each of which serves as an interactive backdrop for 3D illusory photography. On the 3 levels of the museum, there is an impressive collection of 120 unique artworks falling within 14 categories. This fantastic art gallery is situated on Jalan Nakula, just off the junction of Kuta’s Sunset Road and Jalan Dewi Sri and right down the street from Seminyak’s TS Suites.
These are only a few. Don’t miss a lot of other Seminyak attractions that will offer you a true pleasure of visiting the lovely island of Bali.
