European hotels or Grand Villas, which one you think is better? It is everything about what you are comfortable with and what kind of lifestyle you have. If you want to get out of normal kind of Europe hotel and try something unique such as castle in Spain, an ice hotel in Scandinavia or a convent in Italy. As a modern traveler you have wide variety of selection for accommodation these days.
Hotels: When you think about accommodation in any place, the first thing that come to mind are hotels. It all depends on location. Generally, hotels that are located centrally are very expensive than hotels in the suburbs. If you want all the things within your reach, like when you come out of the hotel, shops and restaurants across the street, then you will enjoy your staying at a hotel located centrally. If you are on a limited budget, and not bothered by the local transportation to get to your destination, then you can stay in suburb hotels. It can be fun to stay in cheap hotels that are selected carefully. You might get more amenities in cheap hotels compared to hostels.
Another thing that you want to consider is the pattern of hotel in Europe. Do you like to stay in traditional or modern hotels? Well, it depends on every traveler’s needs, some people like to stay in traditional style hotels and some like to stay in modernized hotels.
Convents, Castles and Villas :Â Villas were only meant for famous and rich people in the past, but that is not the case anymore. Common man also can now experience this lifestyle by renting a comfortable and expensive villa for at least a week. You can have a chef on call all the time to make something special for you. You can wake up feeling like you are a prince or princess imagining that as your own castle. Such vacations always feel like a fairy tale.
Convents were only restricted for nuns in the past. Now, you can easily stay in a convent even if you are not a nun. These accommodations are simple, clean and very comfortable and similar to four star hotels ofEuropebut for three star prices. Dinner and breakfast can also be arranged in advance. Convents can be good alternatives for cheap hotels.
