Getting around Tehran is generally cheap, because of the affordable prices of fuel. Taking a taxi is very recommended, since the local bus system can be quite difficult to understand. Also, metro system works quite well, although it can be a little bit packed from time to time. Wander the streets, visit the Tehran Grand Bazaar and don’t miss out climbing on Mount Tochal for an mind-blowing view of Iranian capital. Meet the locals and enjoy delicious and spicy food!
