Nobody feels totally “at home” when traveling abroad. Even if you are in your own town, but far from your neighborhood, you might find yourself little anxious about what might happen to you. It is normal due to the fact that everyday you heard rather unpleasant news on what’s happening in the world around us. So, if you want to travel safe or you think about some wise tips you should give to, for example, your children, we will try to give you some hints. We are sure, you will get the idea how to proceed in advising your beloved ones.

1. Get the Travel Insurance! Even though it is not legally required, you should undoubtedly purchase it, just in case. If you are abroad and sick, you should know who to call and to be sure you’ll get the proper medical care and treatment. So, do not risk with your health, because you never know what might happen while traveling. Keep in mind that in case you do not have travel insurance policy, you will have to pay a lot more cash if you get sick or injured.

2. Always give a back glance! You will wear and carry more things that you regularly do, so it will be more likely to leave your jacket, umbrella or a purse in a hotel room, restaurant or at the train station. So, just in case, whenever you leave a place, look around to be sure you haven’t left anything. In case you left something in a hostel or restaurant, there is a chance to find it later, but the question is whether you will have enough time for that.

3. Separate your money sources! Never keep all of your money at one place, because in case you lose them, you will be totally out of money in a foreign state. So, keep at least one card or some money on some other, safe place. And, of course, never keep anything valuable in your back pockets.

4. Have a copy of your documents! Well, in past people used to photocopy their documents, but nowadays it is more practical to have those documents scanned and somewhere on the internet (for example, email them to yourself) because you won’t lose them even if you lose all of your luggage.
