the great wall chinaAre you planning to visit China for the first time? It’s an incredible choice and you will surely spend an amazing vacation there. However, keep in mind that this is really massive country. Unbelievable large, China contains some of the largest deserts in the world, the highest mountains, endless grasslands, remote jungles on one side, and the largest cities in the world on the other.

If you want to do it justice, you need to spend more than just few months there. But, usually, people spend less than four weeks here. If you prefer skimming the surface of whole China on your first trip, it’s alright. However, we recommend you to choose just one region (preferably even one province) and to explore the area properly. If you cannot decide where exactly to go, choose it according to the weather. There are places in this country with an ideal weather for traveling, but not all-year around. So, avoid regions where you would experience  wind-beaten blowout or a damp squib. In general, spring and autumn are most recommended for traveling, but not in each province. Also, keep in mind that these seasons last no longer than a few weeks.

Despite the fact that China seems to be in the news every day, this country is impossibly diverse and fascinatingly vast. For these reasons, China represents the unquestionable mystique travel destination. But, even though it sounds exciting, it might be a daunting prospect if you travel there for the first time.

Also, if you don’t use chopsticks on regular basis, when packing your luggage for holidays to China, choose more dark-colored tops and forget white and bright T-shirts. Anyways, you cannot avoid noodle-slurping stains if you are China first-timer, so don’t even try to ask for a knife and fork in restaurants.
